No, I don’t drink! Vaccinations, duh! Yesterday i got three shots. I am now safe from Polio, Hepatitis A, Diphtheria/tetanus… I guess you don’t stay safe from tetanus, but I won’t get whatever you get when you get wounded and need a tetanus shot. I don’t know what diphtheria does either, but I’m good to go. Now I’m taking pills for typhoid, but I’ll just avoid the water while I’m at it! Because of all this my arm hurts, stupid tetanus! The show must go on, come to my party tomorrow or I guess it is today now! P.S. I don’t sleep much anymore, awesome!

for those of you that aren’t rich enough to buy photoshop, like me, here is photoshop express. Web based with 2GB online storage. I think it might be cool, not as many features as the real thing, but maybe it’ll help edit photos. Until I can get the real thing for my computer, this will have to do!

hummm, let’s see, how do I do this? ok, well first you start out with a cute cat on your bed and start throwing stuff on your bed that you think you’ll need. something like this… 
Then you load all of it into your backpack using compression sacks and other various things that smash everything as small as it can get and you end up with this…
52 lbs later you look over your packing list and realize that there might be a few things that you forgot. dang. So then I emptied the backpack, looked at my list, and thought that maybe I’ll try it all again tomorrow. It is actually quite a workout, I even sweated! Here is my packing list, am I missing anything essential? WARNING: Guys, I did put everything on this list, hopefully none of it surprises you…

one week March 26, 2008
This is somewhat frightening… I am one week, seven days, 168 hours, 10,080 minutes, however you want to say it, from leaving for Australia for an adventure of a lifetime. I can’t believe how quickly the time has come for me to take off. There are so many emotions that I’m feeling all at one time. I’m sad, to be leaving behind family and friends. I’m excited, to see the world. I’m scared, to be all by myself. I’m trilled, to be doing what God had called me to do. I’m nervous, to be so far from the familiar. And so many other emotions that I don’t feel like I can accurately describe. In the midst of all those feelings I feel this deep peace that I have never felt about such a huge decision. I’m sure it’ll be different, but I can imagine that when I fall in love, it’ll feel something like this… so peaceful, among other things! Hopefully, if nothing else, this post will give you a feel for how to pray from me as I get all packed up and ready to face the world!
