done and done

I finished my second quarter of college the other night, oh man, does it feel good to have another one done and under my belt! I’ve been trying to get the core subjects done and out of the way. One more quarter and I’ll have all my math and English done!

For quite some time I let the fear of failure get in the way of going to college and getting something done. I was content in living a mediocre life, but I’m moving past that! I’ve found a new confidence in myself since going back to school. I always used work and bills as an excuse, but I can’t do that anymore. I successfully worked full-time, went to school full-time and still got some ministry stuff done in there too!

I’m sitting with a 3.94 accumulative GPA, I don’t think I even did that well in high school! I enjoy going and learning new things. Yes, some of the running start students at OC drive me crazy, but that because they are 16 or 17 years old and think they’re pretty smart… to each his own. Well, that’s a little update with where I’m at, I really am going to make more of an effort to be more diligent with my writing, according to my English teachers, I’m pretty good at it!

I wanted to show you what I’ve been working on here at work again. Always keeping billy the goat moving forward. We’re working our way through the Bible with the kids, it’s pretty cool! We just finished up the promise section. Here’s the poster that I put together for it…

Well, I hope you’re all enjoying your Christmas season. There is a lot to be thankful for, make sure you notice!
